The Society was founded on 20th December 1947. It's constitution is based on the Geneva Convention, to which the Society is a Party, and the fundamental principles of the Red Crescent namely Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity, Universality constitutes our mission.
Floods 2025 in Pakistan
This year, unprecedented floods have once again caused widespread devastation across Pakistan. Thousands of families have been displaced, homes have been washed away, and essential livelihoods destroyed. The situation is dire, with vulnerable communities in urgent need of food, clean drinking water, medical aid, shelter, and basic necessities.
The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Punjab Branch has been at the forefront of the response since the onset of the disaster.
