Youth & Volunteer Department Punjab Red Crescent Society arranged a Session on Red Crescent and Volunteerism on 23-02-23 at Govt. Islamia College for Women, Cooper Road Lahore. The total number of participants were 40.
Youth & Volunteer Officer, PRCS – PHQ welcomed the participants and kicked off the session with a brief introduction to the participants about the core areas and operations of Red Crescent Punjab.
The main objective of the session was to educate youth club memebers of Red Crescent Punjab about PRCS and Volunteerism including What is PRCS, its different departments including Restoring Family Links, First Aid, Youth and Volunteer, Disaster Management Blood Bank and Thalassemia Center, Role of Volunteer in a society and how volunteers are the backbone of the Organization?
In addition, The Vice Principal and teachers of the Government Islamia College for Women, Copper Road appreciated the efforts of and showed gratitude to Red Crescent Punjab in collaborating with college in Youth Activities.
Moreover, Pakistan Red Crescent, Youth and Volunteer’s Department and IFRC Delegation also joined the session and appreciated the efforts of Active Volunteers.
