Red Crescent Punjab Branch arranged the oath-taking ceremony of 31 members of the Youth Club. The oath was administered by the Principal / President of the Youth Club and Y&V officer, PRCS – PHQ. All the participants were briefed about the activities of Red Crescent Punjab, the fundamental principles, and the purpose of the establishment of a youth club in their college.
Afterward, a session on Red Crescent Punjab and Volunteerism was arranged with Youth Club members in Govt. Associate College for Boys, Shalimar Town, Lahore. The total number of participants was 40.
The main purpose of the session was to educate the youth club members about the Red Crescent in Pakistan, its core functional areas, the role of volunteers in society, and how volunteers are the backbone of the organization.
In the end, the principal and teachers of the college appreciated the efforts of and showed gratitude to Red Crescent Punjab Branch for collaborating with the college in youth activities.
