Lahore, 16 February 2025 – The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Punjab participated in Fun Fair 2025, organized by Anjuman-e-Himayat-e-Islam and Muhammad Amin Polytechnic & Vocational Institute. The PRCS stall was visited by Prof. Dr. Shoukat Ali and Mr. Aftab Islam Agha, who commended the efforts of staff and volunteers.
A major attraction was the blood donation camp for thalassemia patients, alongside awareness sessions on PRCS’s humanitarian services, disaster response, and health programs. Visitors also benefited from volunteer registration, first aid demonstrations, and free blood group testing.
Dr. Fouzia Saeed, Deputy Director Health, supervised the blood donation drive, ensuring smooth operations. Rao Zaka ur Rehman, Assistant Director Youth and Volunteer, highlighted PRCS’s initiatives, while Zeeshan Ashfaq, Assistant Master Trainer (First Aid), conducted first aid demonstrations.
The event saw an enthusiastic response, with many individuals stepping forward to donate blood and learn about PRCS’s life-saving programs.
