Youth & Volunteer Department PRCS Punjab Fosters Future Leaders through Junior Youth Club & Road Safety Poster Competition

On May 21, 2025, the Youth and Volunteer Department of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society Punjab took another meaningful step toward youth empowerment by establishing a Junior Youth Club at Govt. Kinnaird Girls High School, Lahore. The initiative was paired with a dynamic Road Safety Awareness Poster Competition, igniting creativity and civic sense among students.

The day began with an inspiring oath-taking ceremony led by the School Principal, where 34 spirited students pledged to uphold the values of volunteerism and community service. Each participant wore a sash ribbon a proud symbol of their commitment.

Students then took the spotlight, translating their understanding of road safety into powerful visual messages. Appreciation shields were awarded to the top three winners and the School Focal Person was honored with a commemorative shield by the PRCS team for their valuable support.

This initiative reflects PRCS Punjab’s ongoing mission to nurture responsible, safety-conscious youth ready to serve their communities.
