The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Punjab Branch, with the support of the German Red Cross, is conducting a four-day technical training session in Multan under the Anticipatory Humanitarian Disaster Risk Preparedness (AHDRP) project.
A total of 23 male and female volunteers from five districts—Multan, Rajanpur, Muzaffargarh, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Rahim Yar Khan—are participating in the training.
On the first day, participants received orientation on key foundational topics, including an introduction to the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, its Fundamental Principles, the history of PRCS, basic disaster management terminology, the Code of Conduct, and an overview of the AHDRP project.
