he Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Punjab Branch, in collaboration with Transworld Enterprise Services (Pvt.) Ltd., successfully conducted a blood collection drive at the company’s premises in Lahore, securing 26 units of blood to support thalassemic children receiving transfusions at the PRCS Punjab Thalassemia Centre.
The initiative witnessed strong support from both organizations. PRCS extends its heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Mohd. Bilal and Mr. Abdullah of Transworld (Home) International, as well as Ms. Madiha Shahzad, a dedicated volunteer of PRCS Punjab, for their instrumental role in organizing and promoting the camp.
Medical services during the drive were expertly provided by Dr. Javed Habib Rana and Mr. Adil Rafique (Technician), whose professionalism and efficiency enabled the collection to surpass initial targets.
This successful collaboration reflects a shared commitment to humanitarian service and reinforces the importance of corporate and community partnerships in saving lives through voluntary blood donation.
