A successful blood collection drive was organized in collaboration with Standard Chartered Bank at its Garden Town branch in Lahore, yielding nine blood bags to support children suffering from thalassemia.
The event was a result of a joint effort between the bank and Pakistan Red Crescent, aimed at encouraging voluntary blood donation and raising awareness about thalassemia. The drive saw an encouraging turnout from staff and volunteers alike.
Special thanks were extended to Mr. Hassan Saeed, Manager Health & Safety at Standard Chartered Bank, whose unwavering support and personal contribution of donating blood played a pivotal role in the success of the camp.
A/Secretary of Pakistan Red Crescent, Mr. Rao Zaka Ur Rehman, visited the camp to personally commend the donors and organizers. In recognition of Mr. Saeed’s outstanding efforts, a commemorative souvenir was presented on behalf of Pakistan Red Crescent.
The organization also expressed heartfelt gratitude to all donors and volunteers whose compassion and dedication helped make the drive a meaningful success.
