Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Punjab Branch, in coordination with PRCS District Jhang Branch, carried out a beneficiaries assessment in flood-affected areas of District Jhang. The assessment focused on Tehsil 18 Hazari, Union Council No. 84, covering the villages of Nawan Khoo, Rihanawala, Basti Araiyan, Madrasha Anwer Khan, Abadi Mehar Bag, Satiyana, Kot Murad, and Paharpur.
Through this exercise, PRCS teams successfully identified 250 of the most affected households. Each selected family will receive a 30-kg dry food pack, and tokens have already been issued to ensure transparent and organized distribution.
The distribution of these dry ration packs is scheduled for 4 September 2025, with the generous support of the Turkish Red Crescent Society.
This initiative demonstrates PRCS’s ongoing commitment to supporting flood-affected communities with timely humanitarian assistance.
