Pakistan Red Crescent Punjab Headquarters Organizes Life-Saving Training

The Pakistan Red Crescent Punjab Headquarters successfully conducted a two-day Basic First Aid with CPR Training at the College of Nursing, Fatima Jinnah Medical University (FJMU), Lahore.

A total of 33 female nursing students participated in the session, gaining essential life-saving knowledge and practical skills in the following key areas:

Training Topics

CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation): Vital techniques for restoring breathing and circulation during emergencies.

Bleeding Control: Effective methods to manage wounds and prevent excessive blood loss.

Wound Management: Proper procedures to care for injuries, promote healing, and avoid infection.

Basic First Aid Techniques: Foundational responses to common medical emergencies.

Ceremony Highlights

The closing ceremony was graced by distinguished guests:

Chief Guest: Syed Mahboob Qadir Shah, Secretary General of Pakistan Red Crescent Society Punjab

Guest of Honor: Prof. Dr. Khalid Masaood Gondal, Vice Chancellor, Fatima Jinnah Medical University

Host: Mrs. Khudija Mushtaq, Principal, College of Nursing and Midwifery

Recognition and Appreciation

The ceremony included moments of appreciation and recognition:

Shield Presentation: The Principal, College of Nursing FJMC, presented shields to the Chief Guest and Guest of Honor.

Souvenirs: The Secretary General PRCS Punjab presented souvenirs to the Vice Chancellor FJMC and the Principal College of Nursing.
