PRCS Punjab and German Red Cross Provide Lifesaving Aid to Flood-Affected Families in Tehsil Alipur

Alipur, November 2025 — The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Punjab, in collaboration with the German Red Cross, extended vital humanitarian support to flood-affected families in Tehsil Alipur, South Punjab.

As part of the ongoing relief initiative, 325 ration packs (50 kg each) and 325 hygiene and dignity kits were distributed among vulnerable households to ensure food security, health, and personal dignity.

To promote community health and resilience, a Health and Hygiene Promotion Session was also conducted, focusing on safe hygiene practices and disease prevention.

The activity was graced by Mr. Mehboob Qadir Shah, Secretary General PRCS Punjab, along with the Head of Delegation, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the Head of Delegation, German Red Cross.

Speaking at the occasion, the dignitaries reaffirmed their joint commitment to strengthening community resilience and ensuring continued support to vulnerable families in South Punjab.
