A great initiative was taken by Red Crescent Punjab’s Youth and Volunteer Department to celebrate ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ง๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ง’๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฒ, ๐๐๐๐ under the theme of ๐๐บ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐๐พ๐๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐๐ and show appreciation towards women’s contribution to society.
Being a focal person, Youth and Volunteer Officer, Red Crescent Punjab, Mudassir Habib Jami organized this activity and it’s great to hear that 20 volunteers from different universities participated in this activity in making handmade cards and 10 volunteers were engaged in the distribution of handmade cards, both males and females were involved.
The distribution of handmade cards to the female staff of PRCS โ PHQ; staff and patients at Ganga Ram Hospital, as well as female lawyers at Lahore Bar and Lahore Bar Day Care Center’s staff, shows that the initiative reached a diverse group of women in different fields. The participation of the Medical Superintendent of Ganga Ram Hospital and Medical Officers in this activity is also a positive sign of support for women’s rights and equality.
Overall, the distribution of 126 handmade cards on ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ง๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐งโ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฒ, ๐๐๐๐ is a small but significant gesture to show gratitude towards women and encourage them to continue making positive contributions to society.
