That sounds like a very productive and positive meeting between the Youth and Volunteer Department of Red Crescent Punjab and Inspector Fehmida Zeeshan of the Education Unit of the City Traffic Police in Lahore. It is great to see these two organizations working together to improve the disaster management policies and training sessions for volunteers, as well as to provide opportunities for female volunteers to receive training in bike driving and for all volunteers to gain awareness about traffic signals and road safety.
It is also heartening to hear that the efforts of Red Crescent Punjab’s volunteers in responding to disasters and flood relief campaigns were highlighted and appreciated during the meeting. Cooperation between organizations is crucial in times of crisis, and this collaboration between the Youth and Volunteer Department of Red Crescent Punjab and the City Traffic Police in Lahore is a great example of how working together can lead to positive outcomes for all involved.
