As part of its ongoing efforts to build awareness around humanitarian services, the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Punjab Branch conducted an informative session focused on Restoring Family Links (RFL) — a vital service provided in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
The primary objectives of the session were to:

Introduce participants to the RFL services offered by PRCS and ICRC.

Provide guidance on how individuals and families separated due to conflict, disaster, migration, or other humanitarian crises can re-establish contact with loved ones.
Through this awareness session, participants gained a deeper understanding of the global humanitarian network’s role in reuniting families and addressing the emotional and psychological impacts of separation. The session underscored the importance of compassion, confidentiality, and neutrality in carrying out these services.
PRCS continues to strengthen community understanding of RFL efforts to ensure that no one remains alone or unaccounted for in the wake of emergencies.
