The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Punjab Branch conducted a focused Restoring Family Links (RFL) awareness session in Khuthiala Sheikhan, engaging 15 female participants from the local community.
The session was facilitated by Mr. Jahanzeb, a dedicated RFL volunteer, and aimed to educate women on how families separated by conflict, disaster, or migration can reconnect through the RFL program, a humanitarian service offered by PRCS in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
With a strong emphasis on inclusivity and empowerment, the session highlighted the importance of providing women with access to tracing and messaging services, enabling them to play an active role in locating and reconnecting with missing family members.
This initiative reflects PRCS Punjab’s ongoing commitment to strengthening community awareness of humanitarian services and ensuring that vulnerable populations — especially women — are informed and supported in times of crisis.
