PRCS Punjab Restores Historical Building; Shifts Operations to RBDC, Plans Red Crescent Museum

Lahore, 22nd June 2025 – The Managing Committee of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Punjab in its earlier meeting has decided to restore its historic old building of Headquarters to its original architectural form. To facilitate the restoration process, all departmental operations have been shifted to the renovated Regional Blood Donation Centre (RBDC) building.

As part of this initiative, PRCS Punjab also plans to establish a Red Crescent Museum in the restored building to showcase the society’s rich history, humanitarian services and legacy.

To formally commence operations at the RBDC, a Quran Khwani and prayer ceremony was held. PRCS Punjab Chairman Mian Muhammad Hanif, Sitara-e-Imtiaz, graced the occasion along with members of the Managing Committee. Volunteers recited verses from the Holy Quran and recited Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (SAW) , followed by collective prayers for the success of this significant endeavor.

The staff has officially started working from the new premises, marking a new chapter in preserving and celebrating the institutional heritage of PRCS Punjab.
