Lahore – As per the planned agenda, the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Punjab Branch organized an insightful training session on Restoring Family Links (RFL) today. The session commenced at 10:00 AM with the recitation of the Holy Quran, setting a respectful and purposeful tone for the proceedings.

Mr. Zeeshan, Assistant Youth & Volunteer (Y&V), opened the session with an overview of the Red Cross and Red Crescent (RCRC) Movement, highlighting its core principles and humanitarian mission. This was followed by the main session conducted by Mr. Qazi Amjad Ali, RFL Manager, who provided a comprehensive briefing on the RFL program, its objectives, various types of tracing requests, and the process of restoring contact through Red Cross Messages (RCM) and Salamat Messages. Real-life case studies were shared to enhance participants’ understanding of the program’s impact.

An interactive Q&A session allowed participants to seek clarifications and engage in constructive dialogue, further deepening their knowledge. A total of 15 participants, including 3 males and 12 females from different institutions across Lahore, attended the training.
The session was co-facilitated by Ms. Dua Nawaz and Mr. Moeezullah, who ensured smooth coordination and active participant engagement throughout the day.
