Rajanpur, — The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Punjab Branch, in collaboration with the German Red Cross, is conducting a three-day District Disaster Response Team (DDRT) training in Rajanpur, now underway on its second day.
The training has brought together volunteers from all three tehsils of the district, including Community Disaster Response Team (CDRT) leaders, members of civil society organizations (CSOs), students, and personnel from Rescue 1122.
The initiative aims to strengthen local disaster response mechanisms and enhance preparedness for potential future emergencies in Rajanpur. Over the course of the program, 27 volunteers — including 9 women — are receiving specialized training to build their capacities for effective disaster and emergency response within their communities.
