Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS), with the support of the German Red Cross, has mobilized trained volunteers to assist flood-affected communities.
At Khan Garh Doma, PRCS volunteers are actively providing first aid support to community members through a relief camp established in the area.
In Alipur and Liaqatpur, PRCS trained volunteers are working closely with the district administration to support early warning dissemination. Women volunteers are conducting door-to-door visits with community women to spread key preparedness messages, while mosque loudspeakers are being utilized for wider announcements with the cooperation of local Imams.
These efforts highlight PRCS’s community-based approach, ensuring timely support, awareness, and preparedness in vulnerable areas.
