To ensure the safety and well-being of mourners during the observance of 10th Muharram 1448 AH (26 June 2026), the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) established a First Aid Post at the procession route to provide immediate emergency medical assistance and first aid services.

The First Aid Post was staffed by trained PRCS first aid volunteers and personnel who remained on duty throughout the procession, providing prompt medical care to participants in need. The deployment was part of PRCS’s commitment to supporting public safety and assisting the local administration during Ashura arrangements.

Through this humanitarian initiative, PRCS once again demonstrated its dedication to delivering timely emergency response services and ensuring the health and safety of the community during major religious events
