The Day 05 Branch Disaster Response Team (BDRT) Training successfully concluded at the Civil Defence Academy, Lahore, with 20 participants completing practical exercises, final evaluations, and a comprehensive Simulation Exercise (SIMEX).
The final day focused on translating classroom learning into practical action through a participant-led SIMEX. The exercise provided participants with hands-on experience in applying disaster management tools, sectoral interventions, information management, coordination, and field-level response skills.
Moving beyond presentations and theoretical learning, the SIMEX exposed participants to realistic emergency response scenarios and strengthened their ability to coordinate, make informed decisions, and respond effectively in field situations.
The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Punjab Branch continues to strengthen disaster preparedness and response capacities by promoting practical learning, developing trained responders, and enhancing coordinated humanitarian action.
