An orientation/refresher session of RFL marked on 03-05-2023 for the RFL Volunteers of Punjab Red Crescent Society in which volunteers from 13 districts participated.
The main agenda of the session was to introduce the program, practices, and new developments to newly inducted and existing volunteers.
The Honorable Secretary, of Punjab Red Crescent Society, Muhammad Zahid joined the orientation session as Chief Guest. He formally welcomed the delegation from Islamabad and the volunteers and kicked off the session with the introduction of the participants. While sharing his thoughts, he stated that Red Crescent Punjab is fully supporting each program at its full potential to create awareness and promote the objectives of the RCRC Movement to the community while keeping the principles of the RCRC Movement aligned with the PRCS working environment so that we all can serve the humanity in a better way.
Moreover, Assistant Director RFL, Pakistan Red Crescent, Ms. Sana Anwar Gull, and Data Protection Manager, ICRC, Ms. Arooj delivered the session on Irregular Migration, Detention, and Shipwreck were covered as a whole.
In addition, the developments related to the applications including Tracing Requests, Red Cross Message (RCM), Trace the Face, and Unaccompanied Minors were also part of the session.
The delegation from NHQ and ICRC also had a meeting on 04-05-2023 with Shipwreck deceased families and discussed the matters in detail, assuring them all possible help from the RFL Punjab Red Crescent Society
In the end, the delegation appreciated the volunteers for the efforts they are putting into spreading awareness in restoring families and restoring connections within their districts and also appreciated Red Crescent Punjab in supporting the RFL program on the whole.
