Chiniot, September 1, 2025 – The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) carried out a large-scale relief activity in the flood-affected areas of District Chiniot, covering Tehsils Chiniot and Bhowana.
From 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., PRCS teams distributed 1,000 hot meal packs along with bottled water among flood-affected families. The activity was conducted across multiple locations, including:

The distribution was actively supported by district authorities, including Deputy Secretary Mr. Numan and CEO Health Mr. Saqib. The activity was further facilitated by Mr. Zeeshan Ashfaq (Assistant Youth & Volunteer) along with four dedicated volunteers.
The initiative provided immediate relief to families struggling with displacement, food insecurity, and lack of clean drinking water due to standing floodwaters.
