Chiniot, September 1, 2025 – The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) carried out a large-scale relief activity in the flood-affected areas of District Chiniot, covering Tehsils Chiniot and Bhowana.
From 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., PRCS teams distributed 1,000 hot meal packs along with bottled water among flood-affected families. The activity was conducted across multiple locations, including:
Union Council Qazi Haral, Moza Salara
Moza Jusrat Khokhar, Dera Malik Nasir Khokhar
Moza Mathroma
Flood Relief Camp at Rasheeda School
Relief Camp on Jhand Chiniot Road
Relief Camp at Mansha Petroleum, Jhang Road Chiniot
Tehsil Bhowana: Flood Relief Camp at Adda Pathan Kot
Relief Camp at Dewan-e-Khas Marquee
The distribution was actively supported by district authorities, including Deputy Secretary Mr. Numan and CEO Health Mr. Saqib. The activity was further facilitated by Mr. Zeeshan Ashfaq (Assistant Youth & Volunteer) along with four dedicated volunteers.
The initiative provided immediate relief to families struggling with displacement, food insecurity, and lack of clean drinking water due to standing floodwaters.
