As part of the PRCS Punjab Volunteer Mentorship Program, dedicated Climate Change Mentorship Sessions were conducted simultaneously for all three mentorship batches on 27th, 28th, and 29th July 2026.
During these interactive sessions, volunteers explored the impacts of climate change, disaster risk reduction, community resilience, and the role of youth in promoting sustainable environmental action. Participants were encouraged to critically examine local climate challenges and identify practical, community-based solutions.
As a key assignment, each volunteer team was tasked with developing and presenting a pilot climate change project addressing an environmental issue within their respective communities. The project presentations are now underway, showcasing innovative ideas, practical solutions, and the commitment of PRCS Punjab volunteers to becoming climate leaders and agents of positive change.
These sessions reflect PRCS Punjab’s continued commitment to empowering young volunteers with the knowledge, skills, and leadership needed to address climate change and build resilient communities through meaningful and sustainable action.
