PRCS Punjab Signs MoU with Sapphire Diamond Fabrics to Strengthen Humanitarian Collaboration

Lahore: In a significant step towards strengthening humanitarian collaboration, the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Punjab Branch signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sapphire Diamond Fabrics Limited (Sapphire Group) to enhance joint efforts aimed at serving vulnerable communities across Punjab.

The MoU was formally signed by Secretary General PRCS Punjab, Mr. Mehboob Qadir Shah, and Director HR Sapphire Group, Mr. Syed Faraz Shahid. The ceremony was graced by Mian Azhar, Managing Committee Member PRCS Punjab, along with other distinguished participants from both organizations.

Representing Sapphire Group at the occasion were Qumber Ali Jaffar, Human Resource Business Partner; Ifra Tariq, Senior Assistant Manager HR; and Mr. Zain-ul-Abideen, HR Manager. From PRCS Punjab, Deputy Secretary Rao Zaka-ur-Rehman and other managers were also present.

The ceremony was hosted and organized by the Deputy Director Health (DDH) of PRCS Punjab.

Following the signing ceremony, the delegation visited the PRCS Thalassemia Center, where they interacted with young patients and distributed food among the children as a gesture of care and solidarity.

This partnership marks an important milestone in promoting corporate–humanitarian collaboration, reflecting a shared commitment to support health, welfare, and humanitarian initiatives across Punjab.
