Lahore, 02 September 2026: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was held between the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Punjab and the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, aimed at strengthening institutional collaboration and promoting joint initiatives in areas of mutual interest.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Majid Chaudhary, Member Managing Committee; Mr. Aftab Islam Agha, Member Managing Committee; Mr. Rao Zaka Ur Rehman, Secretary PRCS Punjab; Ms. Fauzia, Deputy Director Health; Mr. Rizwan Sabir, Assistant Secretary; and Ms. Aleena Qaiser, Assistant Director HR, representing PRCS Punjab.
From UET Lahore, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, Vice Chancellor, and Dr. Muhammad Waqas, Director External Links, participated in the ceremony.
The MoU was signed and exchanged by Mr. Rao Zaka Ur Rehman, Secretary PRCS Punjab, and Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, Vice Chancellor UET Lahore.
The agreement aims to foster cooperation between the two institutions and provide opportunities for collaborative activities, knowledge sharing, capacity building, youth engagement and initiatives contributing to community resilience and humanitarian development.
