PRCS Punjab Expands Flood Relief Operations, Provides Medical Care and Meals to Affected Families

LAHORE: Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Punjab Branch has intensified its humanitarian response in flood-affected areas, extending vital healthcare and relief assistance to vulnerable communities impacted by urban flooding.

As part of the ongoing emergency response, PRCS Punjab established a medical camp where qualified doctors provided consultations, treatment, and essential medical assistance to people suffering from waterborne diseases and other flood-related health concerns.

In addition to medical services, PRCS teams distributed cooked meals among more than 150 flood-affected families, ensuring immediate food assistance reached those facing difficulties in meeting their basic needs.

The relief activities reflect PRCS Punjab’s continued commitment to standing alongside affected communities and providing timely humanitarian assistance with dignity, compassion, and care.

PRCS Punjab emphasized that every contribution plays a vital role in supporting emergency healthcare, food distribution, and other essential relief activities for families affected by flooding.
