Climate Change & Mental Wellbeing Activity – PSF High School, Manawan Girls Campus

A youth-led Climate Change & Mental Wellbeing activity was conducted at PSF High School, Manawan Girls Campus, focusing on the impacts of climate change, extreme heat, and environmental stress on students’ mental wellbeing.

The activity created an engaging and supportive environment where students explored practical ways to manage stress while taking positive action for their surroundings. Activities included stress-relieving and relaxation exercises, creative canvas painting, recycling, plantation, and environmental awareness sessions.

As a lasting outcome of the initiative, a permanent Climate & Mental Wellbeing Corner was established within the school. Designed as a safe, peaceful, and welcoming space, the corner provides students with a place to sit, study, relax, reflect, and take a break from academic and environmental pressures.

recycled swing was installed in the wellbeing space, accompanied by a dedicated display highlighting the vision of creating additional swings from recyclable materials in the future. Students also participated in a plantation drive, while old pots were creatively painted and repurposed for planting, bringing additional greenery, colour, and life to the space.
