Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Punjab Branch, with the support of the German Red Cross, continued its efforts to strengthen community preparedness and resilience by forming three new Community Disaster Response Teams (CDRTs) and developing an evacuation plan with previously trained CDRT members.

Tehsil Alipur – Village Kotla Baksh
CDRT Formation with 25 participants (18 men, 7 women, including 1 woman with disability).
Tehsil Rajanpur – Village Kachi Khan Muhammad
CDRT Formation with 30 participants (21 men, 9 women).
Tehsil Rajanpur – Village 6/4L
CDRT Formation with 25 participants (12 men, 13 women, including 10 from minority groups).
Tehsil DG Khan – Village Malkani Qalandar
Activity: Development of Evacuation Plan and Enhancement of Early Warning System
Participation: 12 members (all men).
Through these activities, PRCS Punjab Branch is empowering communities to better respond to disasters, ensuring inclusivity by engaging women, persons with disabilities, and minority groups.
