Youth for Humanity Initiative Promotes Humanitarian Action and Environmental Responsibility

Lahore: The launching ceremony of the “Youth for Humanity” Initiative was held at Governor House, Lahore, featuring practical activities aimed at promoting humanitarian preparedness, lifesaving skills and environmental responsibility among young people.

The event was attended by Hon’ble Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, Governor Punjab and President PRCS Punjab, Hon’ble Mian Muhammad Hanif, Chairman PRCS Punjab, PRCS leadership, university representatives and other distinguished guests.

As part of the initiative, a practical First Aid demonstration was conducted to highlight essential lifesaving techniques and the importance of timely and effective response during emergencies. The demonstration emphasized the vital role of first aid knowledge in saving lives and strengthening community preparedness.

A tree plantation activity was also organized, highlighting the importance of environmental stewardship, climate action and youth engagement in building resilient communities.

The activities reflected the core objectives of the “Youth for Humanity” Initiative, translating humanitarian awareness into practical action and encouraging young people to actively contribute to their communities.

The initiative aims to inspire youth to become responsible community members and advocates for humanitarian values, environmental protection and a safer, healthier and more resilient society.
