Lahore: The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Punjab organized a two-day First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training for Public Health Nursing students at its premises on Montgomery Road, Lahore.

The training was designed to equip participants with essential life-saving skills and effective emergency response techniques. A total of 42 nursing students actively participated in the hands-on sessions, demonstrating strong engagement and enthusiasm.
The comprehensive training covered key areas, including:

Fundamentals of first aid and emergency care

Practical CPR techniques for adults, children, and infants

Management of electrical injuries, drowning, and choking emergencies

Proper use of bandages for controlling bleeding and managing burns
The sessions were highly interactive and practical, enabling participants to build confidence and competence in responding to real-life health emergencies. The training was well received by the students, who expressed high satisfaction and shared their intention to apply the acquired skills in both clinical and community healthcare settings.
