Lahore: A delegation of Public Health students from the University of Health Sciences (UHS) visited the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) for an educational and orientation session aimed at enhancing their understanding of humanitarian services and community health initiatives.

During the visit, the students, along with Ms. Wardah Nisar, Lecturer Public Health, highly appreciated the wide range of humanitarian services provided by PRCS. Particular emphasis was placed on free blood transfusion services for thalassemia patients, First Aid training, Disaster Management, and the Restoring Family Links (RFL) programme.

The delegation expressed strong interest in contributing to PRCS’s humanitarian mission and showed enthusiasm to engage with the organization as volunteers in the future. On the occasion, Dr. Kumail Haider and Ms. Seetat formally joined PRCS as volunteers, further strengthening the volunteer base of the organization.
PRCS extends sincere appreciation to the Media Manager and PRCS staff for their valuable cooperation and support in making the visit successful.
